Battersea Bank Holiday

Good Friday well and truly lived up to its name eh? Days like yesterday make me feel like the luckiest chuck to be living in London because it was b-e-a-utiful! It also makes me want to consume gallons of Prosecco, which does not bode well for my waistline or bank account come actual summer time. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it...

Anyway, Matt and I took a trip to Battersea park yesterday morning and hired a couple of Boris bikes (lol are we tourists?) to bask in the glorious weather whilst tossing our hair playfully in the springtime breeze... we so Instagram.

I wore my new sunglasses by Quay Australia at Oxford Street Topshop, a jumper from H&M (which, if you text your email address to 85020 when you're next in store, you can get 25% off one item - winner!), Stan Smiths and pleated culottes/wide leg trousers from Topshop, which I cannot get enough of because they are oh-so comfy. I reckon the lightweight material will also be a dream in the summer when it gets a bit warmer.

After a bit of playing around with my new Olympus Pen-F and a mocchacino, I headed off to get my roots done in Kensington. Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the most basic of them all? Guilty as charged babes.

Hope you have a great rest of your long weekend, what do you have planned? x
