'What's this then? I don't remember following this blog?' you might be asking yourself today. Or perhaps you've noticed something a bit different here... before you hit the unfollow button (plz don't k thanx), hear me out - I'm fairly confident it's worth sticking around.

I've been thinking for a while it's time for a bit of a change. As a creature of routine and habit, change is something I do my best to avoid, but lately l I've felt slightly disillusioned with my blogging/instagramming (millennial problem or what?). I've found myself unsure of what to do next as I felt like I'd hit a creative wall.

'PB and the Journey' has got me to this point and given me the opportunity to work on some really cool exciting things, but I felt like something about the name wasn't working anymore. I often had to explain the reasoning behind it, which was quite long winded, and I also felt it didn't adequately reflect the content of my blog. So it's time for a change.

If you're a regular here you'll know my wonderful boyfriend Matt takes my blog photos for me every weekend, never once complaining. However, like a lot of girls out there I'm sure, he always has something to say about my outfit choices. It's become a running joke for us that every time I buy something new, which is often quite man-repelling, I wait for him make a dad comment about it. Hey, you need someone to bring you back down to earth before your head gets too big and you start taking yourself too seriously, right? ;-)

Following one such occasion yesterday when he asked me if I'd brought my crystal ball and whether I could do some fortune telling (referring to my new hoop earrings, natch), I laughed and said 'I might as well change my blog name to "Clothes My Boyfriend Hates!"' - something about it worked. So I impulsively went home, bought the domain name and lo and behold, here we are: the new and improved Clothes My Boyfriend Hates. I would love to know what you think of the new name? I'm still working on a 'logo' so bear with me on that one for the time being. I hope you'll see the new name as a bit of fun and in no way implying you should care about what your boyfriend or otherwise thinks of your clothes. This space is about celebrating going forth and wearing whatever the hell you want but not taking fashion too seriously, too :-)

While we're on the subject of change, I'd be really keen to know if there's anything you'd like to see on here in the future? Your opinion is super useful and for those of you who read and support my blog regularly, thank you and I hope you'll keep coming over despite the change.

Here are a few things my boyfriend has said in response to my sartorial choices:

About the blazer I am wearing in these pictures: 'Oh, are you off shooting clay pidgeons somewhere?'

About a pair of leather trousers and shearling jacket: 'Are you joining the other bikers later or...?'

About the ruffled pink top in this post'You look like David Bowie'

About some high waisted straight leg jeans: 'But we don't have a people carrier for you to take the kids to soccer practice in'
